Letter of the Hotel Manager (Update 14.04.)

Dear guests, we can recall some Christmases a long time ago when Hotel Kolping closed for a few days – because WE decided to do so. Now, the Hotel is closed again because this is in everyone’s interest.

We have to take care of You, our Guests. And we have to take care of our 160 colleagues. I am doing everything in my power not to leave them in the lurch and to be able to get ready for the reopening together.
This period is going to be very difficult for those working in the tourism sector (among others). We, who fill everyone’s holiday with pleasure and adventure, are on forced leave.
Playgrounds are empty. Nobody’s going down the new slides. Bobo is also hiding, but at least he has Mimi and Pikko.

What we are going to do now: until 29.05.2020 Hotel Kolping receives no guests.
We do not plan any further than that. We will be in touch when the time comes.

Have you already made a booking?

• If your booking is during the shutdown, you have already received or are going to receive a letter from us about the modification and cancellation options.
• If your booking is after 29 May, please wait a little. We are keeping up with the news and will be in touch. If travelling is still risky, you can modify or cancel your booking free of charge.

We are not sitting idly, however.

• Taking into consideration the strictest health and safety measures, we are still working. We are going to clean, check, repair and decorate every corner of the Hotel, so that when little children are here again and laughter fills the park, everything will be in order. We will be ready to reopen. The Hotel will be more beautiful and exciting than ever before.
• We are training ourselves – and you will enjoy the benefits. New recipes, new programmes… we will have plenty of time to think.
• Of course, a colleague will answer the phone and all the emails will be answered. Plan your summer, ask for an offer, make a booking. Bookings will be handled flexibly; there is no risk in planning ahead. After being locked in, all the services and novelties of our Hotel will be like a balm to the soul.
