We've always wanted to be more than just a hotel. We want to be a place where it feels good to arrive. A place where children feel at home within hours, parents can finally relax, and where warm smiles, thoughtful gestures and genuine personal care matter just as much as comfortable rooms and unforgettable experiences.

To us, your home away from home is more than a slogan – it's something we strive to create every single day. And we felt there was just one small thing missing: communicating with you in a way that feels as warm, friendly and natural as the atmosphere we want you to experience.

A friendly tone doesn't mean less respect

In Hungarian, there's a distinction between formal and informal ways of addressing someone. From now on, we'll be using the more personal, informal style in our communication.

For us, this isn't about showing less respect. Quite the opposite. We believe that respect isn't defined by the words or pronouns we use, but by the kindness, care and attention we show every day.

A more personal way of communicating helps conversations feel easier and more natural. It brings people closer together, breaks down barriers and creates even more of those little moments that make a stay at Kolping feel like home.

Of course, this isn't something we expect from you. Whether you choose a formal or informal tone when speaking with us, you'll always be met with the same warmth, kindness and respect. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and truly at home.

Growing into this new tradition together

After many years of communicating more formally, this change will naturally take a little time. You may still occasionally come across a formal greeting or wording in our conversations, on signs, in emails or elsewhere around the resort.

We're gradually updating all of our communication—both online and throughout the resort—so that wherever you meet us, you'll experience the same warm, welcoming and personal tone.

We're embracing this change together, and we're confident it will soon feel completely natural for everyone.
