Similarly to previous years, this year Utazó Magazin (Traveler’s Magazine) rewarded the best touristic service providers of the previous year, and with the intention of establishing a tradition, for the first time this year Hungarian restaurants and accommodations operating outside Hungary also received appreciation.
The award was presented on 12 June 2019 in the opening ceremony of the professional conference of Utazó Magazin. The event was also attended by Árpád János Potápi Secretary of State for National Policy and Tamás Flesch, President of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants.
Zoltán M. Érsek, editor-in-chief of Utazó Magazin said that this year it was the 14th time that the prizes to the best touristic service providers were awarded. The service providers received prizes in 16 categories based on the votes of the readers and tourism professionals, and a lifetime achievement award was also granted.
In 2018 the “Family-friendly Hotel of the Year” award once again went to Kolping Hotel Spa & Family Resort! The director of our hotel, Csaba Baldauf received the award in a very special venue, in the recently opened Párisi Udvar Budapest Hotel.
