The Hotel of the Year: In the 4-star category, in the countryside: Kolping Hotel Spa & Family Resort!

• The professional board thoroughly tested the hotels that took part.
• They examined all figures, also evaluating the professional background.
• They went incognito and visited the hotels, being attentive and taking notes.
• They also evaluated the qualification and the kindness of the staff.
• They checked the reputation of the hotels on-line, gathering the experiences of real guests with real reviews.
• Social responsibility was an important factor as well.

László Könnyid, vice-president of the Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants Association, the head of the professional board stated in his speech that this competition is about quality and teamwork. The vice-president also added that this competition is the Oscar Award of the trade, and highlighted that the tender saw colourful and substantial applications.

It was the first time for Kolping Hotel to take part in this tender, and came as first right for the first time. It was a worthy end for the Jubilee 20th year of the hotel to be acknowledged by the trade for the work in 2016. They take this award as a challenge, not to lose attention, and to continue the work with the same effort!
