In 2010, we were among the first ones to be awarded with four stars in Hotelstars’ standard European hotel classification system. Now, 10 years later we could proudly accept the four-star superior certificate.
The standard Hotelstars classification system guarantees that in the hotel of their choice, guests will meet the expected quality of the given category in 17 European countries. Hotelstars examines 270 criteria altogether and ensures the fulfillment of these criteria during on-site inspections. With the method of mystery shopping, they regularly monitor whether the audited services are offered to every guest of the hotel at the same, high standard.
We have asked for the re-evaluation after opening the renovated reception area and after renewing our rooms and family suites. We are proud to say that during the on-site inspection, our hotel conformed to the quality standards expected of five-star hotels. So, it wasn’t even a question whether the committee will award Hotel Kolping with the four-star superior qualification we aimed for.
